What we do with your details

Saan Gaming Lounge is one lounge at 382 Main St, East Orange, NJ 07018, not a company with a marketing department. This page says exactly what happens to anything you type into this site — no more, and nothing we don’t actually do.

What we collect

When you book. Your name, phone number, email address, the date and time you asked for, how many guests, and anything you write in the notes box. We ask for these because we cannot answer a booking without them — the phone number is how the owner confirms a party.

When you talk to the chat assistant. Whatever you type in it. The conversation is not stored on our side: it lives in your browser tab until you close it.

Automatically. Your IP address is counted for a few minutes to stop one connection flooding the booking form, and our host records anonymous page views. We use no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies. The only cookie this site sets is the one that keeps the owner logged in to his own dashboard.

Marketing, and the tick box

Booking a table does not put you on a mailing list. The box on the booking form is unticked by default, and it is the only thing that opts you in to hearing about events and offers.

If you leave it unticked we still keep your booking details — we need them to answer the booking — but you are recorded as unsubscribed and you will not be included in anything we send out. You can change your mind either way: every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can call or message us and we’ll do it by hand.

Who else sees it

Nobody buys this list, because we don’t sell it, rent it or share it for anyone else’s marketing. It reaches four suppliers, each doing one job for us:

  • Supabase — the database your booking is stored in.
  • Resend — sends the booking email to the lounge and your confirmation to you.
  • Vercel — hosts the site and counts anonymous page views.
  • Anthropic — only if the chat assistant is running in its AI mode, in which case your messages to it are sent there to be answered. It is not told your booking details.

We will also hand something over if the law actually requires it, which for a lounge in East Orange means a court order, not a phone call.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as they are useful to the lounge — knowing that you had a party here last year is how we recognise you when you book the next one. Contact details stay until you ask us to remove them.

An unsubscribe keeps your row and marks it “do not email”, on purpose: if we deleted it, your next booking would quietly put you back on the list, which is the one thing an unsubscribe exists to prevent. Ask for deletion and the record goes entirely.

Children

We host kids’ birthday parties, and the details we take are the booking adult’s. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child, and the form is not for them to fill in. If you think a child has sent us something, call and we’ll delete it.

Asking for your details, or their removal

Call 862-704-2916 or message 518-635-0729 and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or for all of it to be deleted. A person does it by hand — there is no form and no waiting list.

To stop marketing emails without deleting anything, use the unsubscribe link in any email we’ve sent you.

Changes

If what we do with your details changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We won’t start using anything you gave us for a booking to market at you without asking you first.

Ready when you are — book a table.
